Together, members of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of The American Legion and the The American Legion Riders make up what is known as The Legion Family. All these organizations place high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation's children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.

Memorial Day is also coming and we will be having our Memorial Day ceremony at the train station on May
28th, starting at 11:00 am. This is a unique Holiday to remember and honor those from past and present
conflicts that sacrificed in order to defend freedom and preserve peace. After the ceremony at the train
station, we will be having our ceremony of Post Everlasting to be held at the Post. A Pasta Dinner will be

The American Legion Auxiliary
There will be nominations from our nomination committee next meeting (April) and we will be taking nominations from
the floor also. At the end of the meeting all nominations will be closed and the elections will be held for next year at the
May meeting. This is very important and we need all our members to be involved. If you have been thinking about being a
