Are you ready for March? Better be because it's here. This month we have a lot going on again, meat raffles, corned beef dinners, and of course for your listening pleasure Bad Wolf Karaoke. There is always something going on at the Post.
March is still a cold and flu month so Tom and the bar staff are featuring "Flu Shots”. Come in and get your "painless" flu shot. It comes in a very small glass; therefore no needle is involved thus making it painless. We're not sure it prevents the flu but after a couple you really won't care one way or the other!
On a serious note, the Sweetheart pancake breakfast, hosted by our auxiliary for the 10th district, was a great success. Thanks to all the workers and the people who came to the breakfast. A special thanks to Ken and Don who manned the griddle from start to finish. I tried to help and found out it was best to just stay out of their way, they had this down to an art. Couldn't have done it without you guys! Once again, all branches of the Legion working together for one goal, our Veterans.
Make sure you mark the 19th of this month for an evening at the Post. This will be a big one, corned beef dinner, Legion Riders meat raffle, and if that wasn't enough, entertainment by Bad Wolf Karaoke, and there is no cover charge.
Heads-up to all of you, the Easter party for the children will be April 3rd. The Easter Bunny can use all the help she can get through donations and helpers. The President of our Auxiliary, Robin Janisch, has a direct hot line to "OLE FUZZY TAIL” so please contact her to help out. This event is for our Post members and their children, so let's make it happen and everyone pitch in and help out!
